Bhubaneswar: Education Minister Union Dharmendra Pradhan has written two different letters to his cabinet colleagues Bhupender Yadav, the Ministry of Labor United States and employment, who asked him to create a sub-regional office (SRO) of the Employee State Insurance Company (ESIC) in Jharsuguda and personal intervention For the opening of 12 dispensers in various Odisha places.
In the first letter, Pradhan stated that the ESIC regional office in Bhubaneswar was on the east side of Odisha and was not easily accessible to entrepreneurs and beneficiaries of the western part of the state.
“Therefore, a proposal has been submitted for the creation of SRO in Jharsuguda under the Regional Office of Esic Bhubaneswar,” Pradhan said.
He said 17 of the 30 Odisha districts closer and easier to access by Esic Ro Bhubaneswar, while 13 districts were relatively closer to the proposed SRO in Jharsuguda.
This district has several small and large industries.
More than 30 large businessmen served in and around Jharsuguda and the Rourkela area side by side in the Sundargarh district.
The Union Minister of Education states that most countries have at least one or more sro, but Odisha does not have SRO at this time.
Because of the distance, many people face difficulties coming to Bhubaneswar for ESI’s related work.
“Given the benefits of entrepreneurs and ESIC events, I am looking for your personal intervention in directing your service officials for profitable consideration for proposals for the creation of SRO ESIC in Jharsuguda under the Regional Office of Esic, Bhubaneswar,” he added.
In the second letter, Pradhan said there was a proposal to open 12 new pharmacies in various locations in Odisha and to shift one pharmacy from Brajrajnagar to Belperahar in Jharsuguda Regency.
“I am looking for your personal intervention for the implementation of a proposal,” Pradhan said in the letter to Yadav.
According to the proposal, new dispensari will be made in Talcher, Jaleswar, Nilagiri, Soro, Dhamra, Trisulia, Adaspur, Jagatsinghpur, Joda, Nimapada, Banai and Koira.
The Odisha government has agreed to setting the pharmacy in these places not including new pharmacies in Joda.
