New Delhi: Even as the average Covid-19 Daily case has declined consistently, the center expressed concern more than 22 districts showed an increase in trends in daily cases in the past four weeks along with an increase in the number of districts that reported the level of participants in over 10%.
In the week ended July 26, around 54 districts reported the level of covid-19’s position above 10%, up from 46 districts in the previous week (July 14-20).
Health officials warn that even though most of these districts are currently concentrated in Kerala and northeast which shows local transmission, strict detention measures are needed because many countries including Malaysia and Thailand witnessed a sharp increase in cases.
“If we look at the global perspective, the pandemic is far from above.
There is a real increase in the number of cases around the world, which remains a concern field.
We must work by containing the spread of the virus strictly,” Lav Agarwal, Secretary Joint Deep Ministry of Health.
22 districts where the daily case shows an increased trend covering seven from Kerala, five of Manipur, three in Meghalaya and two of Maharashtra.
In accordance with the data distributed, there are still 62 districts in countries where more than 100 cases are reported every day, which are found in a set of localized and limited areas in these districts.
The average new daily case declined from 3,87,029 cases between 5-11 and 38,090 cases between July 21-27.
However, there is a significant reduction in decline in new week-week cases.
