It also had to decide to score three laws on the first day of the upcoming parliamentary session, he said.
In an official statement from the party headstal, Stalin said the DMK had opposed the controversial agricultural law at the initial stage itself, raising opposition in parliament and voting on the bill, in addition to submitting a case in the Supreme Court.
The party held an agitation in the state with the support of alliance partners and took part in the protest of farmers.
“I wholeheartedly welcomed the Prime Minister’s announcement in the morning.
This is a big victory for farmers and democratic forces protesting the law for the past year,” said the DMK leader.
Given the party’s demand that the AIDMK government which then continued the resolution of the law in the last assembly did not give up, Stalin accused the AIDMK has held a campaign in supporting this law and former Minister of Main Edappadi Kaidenwami region that there is nothing wrong in law.
“Aiaadmk displays loyalty that applies it by supporting the bill,” said Head of DMK.
Farmers expect minimum support prices but no one found in law.
“When the party was in power, I myself as the main minister moved the resolution in the assembly in August,” Stalin said.
It stated that more than 700 farmers had died in agitation and farmers remained steadfast in continuing protests, DMK’s head said the Government government had made a decision by knowing that protests would take steps and remember the election of the upcoming assembly in several countries.
The center must hold talks with farmers, withdraw all cases and expand assistance to lose life, he said.
