The center must put pressure on B’Desh to stop cruelty to Hindus: Ajmal

Guwahati: All Indian United Democratic Front (AIUDF) Badruddin Ajmal on Wednesday urged the center to make “diplomatic movements” to put pressure on the Bangladesh government to stop “cruelty for Hindus” in neighboring countries.
Criticing the recent attacks on Hindu temples and places of Puja Durga in Bangladesh, Ajmal said: “Whatever happens in Bangladesh is condemned.
It is the obligation of the Bangladesh Government to ensure the protection of religious minority.
I will urge the Indian government to make The diplomatic movement is needed .
President Aamsu Rejaul Karim Sarkar said, “We are very harmed and sad about atrocities against religious minorities in Bangladesh.
Brutal attacks on the minority community and the destruction of the properties and places of worship they are very punishing.” He added that it was the task of the Bangladesh government to protect life, the properties and religious places of the minority community in neighboring countries.
“We hope that Bangladesh will hold on to the founder principle of secularism and the vision of his founders, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, with respect to minority rights.
Religious fanatics should not be permitted to torture minorities and violate their rights,” he added.
Workers’ unions send memorandum through the office of the Assistant High Commission Bangladesh, Guwahati.
Com recent communal tensions erupted in Bangladesh after a report on an incident, where the Koran was allegedly not honorable at the Puja Pavilion in Cumilla on October 13.
Immediately the criminals began to attack the Pandal and Temple of Hindu Puja Durga and which resulted in the loss of human life.
