New Delhi: After increasing the case of dengue fever in several states, the center on Tuesday time became nine different teams to identify the state and UTS to help the state government by managing dengue outbreaks.
The teams have been asked to submit their respective reports to the Ministry of Health.
“The teams were asked to be friendly with the state government and immediately continued,” orders from the Ministry of Health published on Tuesday to nine teams said.
Teams have been used to Haryana, Punjab, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir.
This step came after Mansukh Mandaviya’s health minister held a review meeting on Monday and convinced the state and UTS support from the Ministry.
Officials say on-ground initiatives such as the identification of hotspots, fogging and timely care will be carried out to curb illness.
The center also advises the country and UTS to consider covid beds that are repaired to treat dengue fever.
