Chandigarh: Leader Union Bharatiya Kisan Tikait Rakesh on Sunday said the center should not put conditions if you want to continue talks with farmers who protested.
His statement came after Agriculture Minister Union Narendra Singh Tomar stressed that the three new Central Agriculture Laws would bring revolutionary changes in the lives of farmers, and explain that the government was ready to hold talks with warps, except for demand.
Revoke this law.
“We have said before that we are ready for talks every time the government is ready.
But why did they make it conditional by saying that they would not take back agricultural law?” Tikait told reporters in Rohtak.
He accused that the central dispensation worked under corporate pressure.
“…
They (center) will speak (to farmers), but they are run by the company,” he thought.
The leader of the farmer previously spoke with ‘Pink Dharna’ by women’s activists in Rohtak to support farmers’ stir against agricultural law.
At the closest Uchana in Jind District, an Mahapachayat farmer was also held where nine resolutions passed.
Jind Bku’s leader Azad Palwa told reporters that Mahapachayat decided to boycott the BJP-JJP candidate in the upcoming Pancrayat poll in Haryana.
He said if the government did not revoke agricultural laws, BJP and JJP candidates would face boycott in assembly and parliamentary polls as well.
Overcoming ‘Pink-Mahila Kisan Dharna’, said Tikait, “Dharna by women’s activists may occur in Haryana, where women are also at the forefront of agitation (farmers).” He said the ongoing stir has now become a “idea revolution”.
He added that even though farmers had protested “black farming” for months now, it has not moved the government.
“There is an unnecessary emergency in this country and people in this country have to go up …” he said.
Tikait accused if the agricultural law is implemented, the farmers will eventually be forced to do small jobs because their land “will be taken” by a large company.
Meanwhile, Palwa said during Mahapachayat, that it was against the recovery of Haryana damage to property during disruption to the public order bill, 2021.
The bill passed by the State Assembly in March allows authorities to restore compensation from the properties that damage the protesters.
The leader of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) claims this bill aims to be used by the government towards farmer agitation.
Mahapachayat demands that “black agriculture law” rolled back, laws to ensure MSP plants framed by the government, government work and 50 lakh RS compensation are given to the side of farmers who die during the ongoing agitation, all types of farmers’ loans and laborers Tani was abolished.
Resolution related to women’s security, power problems and to ensure work for young people is also skipped in Mahapachayat.
Then talking to reporters at Uchana, Palwa said two prominent leaders – Haryana Deputy Minister Dusyant Chautala and MP BJP BJP Brijendra Singh – “did not stand to support farmers in their struggle against agricultural law”.
“Through Mahapechayat, we want to give them a message that they are chosen because of farmer and labor support.
With the same sound strength, they can eliminate these leaders too,” he said.
Palwa further accused the Chautala, Great Grandson of the former Deputy Prime Minister Late Devi Lal which was considered the ‘farmer Messiah’, did not stand with farmers and cling to power.
“That’s the Chaudhary Devi Lal who handed over the strength of the farmer, while Dushyant didn’t care about the farmer because he didn’t want to give up,” he said.
