New Delhi: Minister Kartataka who was just appointed by Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday said the center had agreed to increase the monthly supply of Covid-19 vaccine to the country, from a dose of 63-64 lakh to 1 dose of crore for August, in the midst of increasing cases.
“I ask for more supply of vaccination (covid) to the country.
He (Mandaviya) has promised to help the maximum way.” At present, 63-64 lakh loses supplied to Karnataka every month.
The state requires more dosage and I ask for a supply of 1.5 dose of crore every month, “he told reporters after meeting the Union Heath Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
The Minister of Chief Karnataka said the Minister of Health told him that (1.5 dose crore) would be a little difficult but would try Supplying 1 dose of crore to the southern state for August, and increasing supply in the following months.
“I hope about 1 dose of crore will be supplied to the state so that 3-4 lakh vaccination per day can be done in our country,” he added.
BOMMAI Noting that Karnataka has been allocated around RS 800 Crore Funds that will be released from the Covid Center Emergency Fund around Rs 23,000 Crore.
“About 15 percent of it has been released so far.
The Minister of Health of the Union has promised to soar more in the coming days to strengthen the state health infrastructure, “he said.
Furthermore, CM said he renewed Mandaviya about the Coronavirus situation in the state, especially the district bordering Kerala.
The direction has been issued for district collectors to Increasing testing and vaccination, he said.
Bommai said the Minister of Health told him that the central direction would be issued in connection with the increasing cases on the border of Kerala District.
CM said he would review the Covid situation in the district bordering each district administration after returning to Bengaluru.
He said he would also review the situation of flooding in the state.
There are concerns about the increasing Covid case in bordering districts.
The government will increase the testing of train passengers and those traveling through the highway, he added.

Bommai, who was chosen as the new leader of the BJP Legislative Party on Tuesday, took part in the resignation of B Yediyurappa, vowed the main minister on Wednesday.
