The Central Government is very Keen to Kashmir Migrant Welfare: Sonowal

Srinagar: Kashmir Migrant is an integral part of Kashmir’s composite culture and the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi very interested in their well-being, Uniush Minister Sarbanou Sonowal said in Baramulla on Friday.
The Union Minister commented this after laying the foundation of the Transit Accommodation camp in Khawjabagh in the North Kashmir District.
By asserting that Kashmir migrants are an integral part of Kashmir’s composite culture, the Ayush Union Minister, and the port, shipping and water channel, said the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was very interested in their well-being, according to government release.
“Some concrete steps have been taken to ensure their rehabilitation so they live in their homeland peacefully and harmony,” he said.
The minister said time had arrived when people from various religions and beliefs living with peace and prosperity.
Unity in diversity as expected in the ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mohatsav’, the independence celebration of the 75th year India, initiative is the only unifying factor for a strong country, he said.
The Union Minister, accompanied by the top officials, is on a two-day visit to the Baramulla district as part of a special public outreach program that also aims to gather feedback from various stakeholders after listening to their development aspirations and other problems.
Sonowal met a number of delegates who told him about their demands and complaints.
Representatives from various political parties asked the Minister and highlighted several demands and complaints relating to the socio-economic development of the community including the increase in basic infrastructure in the Ayush institution, the development of waterways among others.
Sonowal gave the patient’s hearing and expressed happiness for meetings held with delegates.
He said the trade union government had a good dream for the development of Jammu and Kashmir, added that the current outreach program had been initiated by the government to find out the basic problems of the people on the ground.
He assured that the demands and complaints projected by delegates had been considered and the same would be placed with the government at the Union level and also with their timely Lieutenant Governor.
Impressed with a positive and cooperative attitude from the cross-section of people, the minister said everyone had to play their role to improve the development of Tempo.
He congratulated Raj Pancayati’s institution for the success of the formation of a three-level government system.
He said the three-level government system was available for the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the first time in the history of independence.
The transit camp, has accommodation facilities for around 337 families, will be built with an estimated cost of 4,032 lakh rs at a cost of 12 lakh on each flat.
About 50 soil canals have gained for this purpose.
