Thiruvananthapuram: The central team led by Dr.
Ruchi Jain, deputy director of the regional center of the Ministry of Health and family welfare, has reached the state as part of the decision taken by the center to give birth to experts.
This is the third visit of Dr.
Jain to the state since the emergence of Pandemi.
Dr.
Ruchi was accompanied by Dr.
Vinod Kumar from Jipmer during this visit.
The expert team visited the General Hospital and Taluk Hospital in this district.
They also discussed with the Navjot Khosos district collector and had reviews about the situation in the district.
The source said that the team will visit Kollam and Pathanamthitta on Tuesday.
They are also expected to meet Health Minister Veena George also on Tuesday morning.
The Central Team learned to tell health authorities to warn extra on increasing cases in districts where more than a thousand cases were reported every day.
The team also directs the state authority to track data on the contact data of covid positive people to prevent further deployment.
