ThiruvananThapuram: High-level multi-discipline public health team sent by the center to monitor the control measures and detention of Covid-19 in Kerala on Thursday declared satisfaction of the mitigation method applied in the state.
The team visited the Thiruvananthapuram General Hospital, Parird Ppal Medical College and a General Colenchery Hospital and took stock of Covid-19 treatment facilities and held a discussion with the Minister of Health Veena George.
He said the Central Health Team noted that the government had intervened efficiently to avoid lack of oxygen and ICU beds in the state during a pandemic.
“We have also asked the trade union government to share an additional 90 lakh vaccine.
We try to vaccinate 2.5 to 3 lakh people per day,” Minister said.
