Ranchi: Jharkhand Pradesh Vidyalay Rasoiya, Sanyojika, Adhyaksh Sangh on Thursday held a general meeting near Tanah Morhabadi here to support their demands such as an increase in honorarium, regoralizing the service of Rasoiyas and Sanyojikas released from their work.
Hundreds of Rasoiyas and Sanyojikas gathered in Morhabadi’s land with the intention to hold March to the head of Minister of Hemant Soren and handed over their demanding notes to Him.
However, protesters held a meeting near the Morhabadi land after they were stopped by the administration to move towards CM residence.
Speaking at the meeting, President Sangh, Ajit Prajapati, said: “It has been five years since the recovery of Rasoiyas and Sanyojikas was issued by the state headquarters but had not been taken at the ground.” He added that Rasoiyas and Sanyojikas were removed after the end of their three-year provisions but then the government decided to return it.
Prajapati said that Sanyojikas must be given honorarium like Rasoiyas, adding that they must get Rs 400 per day like in Kerala.
At present, Rasoiyas gets Rs 66.66 per day while Sanyojikas does not receive any honorarium.
The organization also demanded the value of Rupee Lakh’s rupee for Rasoiyas and Sanyojikas along with the leave and appointment of computer and music teachers in schools, among others.
The clothes also demanded that the teacher be released from non-education tasks.
Prajapati said that a group of Rasoiyas and Sanyojikas also held a demonstration near Raj Bhavan.
