Chennai: The power supply will be suspended in several parts of Chennai and the suburbs starting at 9am to 2 noon on Wednesday for maintenance work.
Supply will be continued before 14:00 if the job is completed, according to the official release.
There will be a power cut on Nagar Area, Guindy, Tambaram, Sothuperumbedu, Perumbakkam, Velachery and Manali.
In Sothuperumbedu, there will be a power outage in the room, Kumaran Nagar, Balamurugan Nagar, part of Sholavaram, GNT Road and Kavarakullam.
At K K K Nagar, 10th Avenue, Alagirisamy Salai, Tholkapiyam, Chooolaimedu High Road, Kanniyamman Coil, Rangarajapuram, Chitra Avenue, Nelson Manickam Road, Thangal Street, Iyyappa Nagar and surrounding areas will have power cuts.
In the Guindy area, there will be a power outage in Raj Bhavan, Guindy, Moovarasampet, Madipakkam, Nandambakkam, Mugalivakkam, Ramapuram and St Thomas Mount.
Busah Main Road, Nookampalayam Play Road, Gokul Nagar, Jalan Gandhi, Velachhery Main Road, Jalan Bharathidasan, Jalan Alagiri, Kannabiran Road, ADB Avenue, Velavasal Main Road, TNHB Colony, Mgr Nagar, Valluvar Nagar, Valluvar Nagar, Main Road Arasankalani and Sankarapuram in the Perumbakkam area will also face a power outage.
In Velachery, there will be a power cut at TA 1st Street Coil, 5th Street, Lakshipuram area, part of the Bypass road.
In Manali, there will be a power outage in the MMDA I & II phase, Elathanur, Nehru Nagar and Thanigai Nagar.
