Beijing: Chinese leaders have approved the resolution of the history of the ruling Communist Party which is expected to set a stage for President XI Jinping to extend his administration next year.
The official Xinhua news agency said the resolution on the main achievements and historic party experiences was adopted during the four-day meeting of the central committee which ended Thursday.
This step is expected to provide XI status next to the figures of the ruling communist party.
