Islamabad: Islamabad: Director of the American Intelligence Intelligence Agency William Burns on Thursday met the Head of Pakistani Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Fill Head Lt of Faiz Hamid Gene As long as they discussed problems related to regional security issues and current situations in Afghanistan, Military said.

Burns and Bajwa exchanges views on things that are interested together, regional security, and current situations in Afghanistan, Media wings of the Pakistani army, public relations between services (ISPR), said in a statement.
Director of Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) General Hamid was also present during the meeting, he said.
“It was repeated that Pakistan remained committed to working with its international partners for peace in this region and ensuring a stable and prosperous future for the Afghanistan,” said the statement.
The visit of Islamabad was burned a few days after the head of the contents ran to Kabul on a visit that was not announced last week and met with the Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.
This was the first high-level visit by a US official to Pakistan after resolving his withdrawal from Afghanistan on August 31.
