Islamabad: Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, William Burns, who called for the head of the Pakistani Army General Qamar Javan Javan Bajwa and Chief Hen Faiz Hameed in Rawalpindi on Thursday to discuss the situation that applies in Afghanistan.

Burns, said ISPR, appreciate the role of Pakistan in Afghanistan, including during successful evacuation operations, and its efforts towards regional stability.
Burns also promised that he would play his role in increasing diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels, ISPR said.
Burns have been the latest foreign reports to meet with Pakistani military brass in the past few days.
Some foreign officials have visited Pakistan after the takeover of the Taliban Afghanistan on August 15.
On Wednesday, the European Union Ambassador Androula Kaminara had met Bajwa’s genes.
On Monday, the Italian Foreign Minister had asked the army head and discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, as well as potential collaboration in ensuring humanitarian assistance for the ripped war.
These meetings were preceded by Top Diplomat visits from England and Germany.
