Kolkata: The ICSE and ISC candidates will not get traditional OMR sheets for their first semester board exam but they have to fill the designated space with the right answer number in their question-cum-answer booklets.
Cisce issued a notification on Thursday, explaining the format.
Notification contains answers to the answers.
Because CBSE has hinted on OMR sheets, ISC and ICSE candidates wondered if they would also have it.
Also, because Cisce candidates will be given a question and answer booklet, they will not be able to bring paper ask home but have to send a booklet in the hall.
Even a rough job must be done on a blank sheet in a booklet, the notification said.
Candidates must collect acceptance cards from the school, the notification said, which also registered Covid safety proptol to be followed.
“I am happy that the council has chosen the format of traditional answers.
This will calm candidates,” said Sujoy Biswas, the principal at Ram Mohan Mission Mission School.
