Bhubaneswar: In the midst of the state government’s decision to force the prohibition of events and meetings in hotels and clubs in the new year, many people who rejoice to celebrate events at home farms and resorts on the outskirts of the city.
Many have packed their various bags and are heading to various tourist attractions in the district.
Like other countries, Odisha has witnessed the new year’s muted celebration for the past two years.
“Last year, we could not go anywhere because of fear of infection.
This year too, the government imposed a party ban and meeting because of an omicron case increase.
We decided to stay away from the meeting and order a guest house in Satkosia to celebrate the new year,” said Kumar Sourabh, a professional.
