Gurgaon: The city receives 20,000 doses of covishield on Sundays.
After receiving a dose, the Ministry of Health has decided to establish 44 government session sites on Monday.
Officials say that the first dose and both covishield will be provided at 38 sites, where 50 slots will be available for the first and 200 doses for the second dose.
The second dose of Covaxin will be given to five centers.
One center will be arranged in sector 31 polyclinic, where 100 slots will be available for Sputnik v Jabs.
“We have received 20,000 covishield doses today (Sunday) and therefore we will do 44 sessions on Monday.
We do not provide the first dose of covaxin in this city because the supply is limited.
At present, we are more focused on the second dose of Covaxin,” said Medical Chief Gurgaon Dr.
Virender Yadav.
Meanwhile, a total of 5,535 people in the age group 18-44 were inoculated on Sunday.
In the 45-plus category, 2,052 recipients take a shot.
A total of 37 health care staff and 95 frontline workers also received Jab on Sundays.
Overall, 7,719 doses were given in private vaccination centers, where 5,277 receivers took the first dose and 2,442 took the second dose.
The new 10 Caseste City on Sunday reported 10 fresh Covid-19 cases took Caseload to 1,80,799, where 74 active cases.
The level of front is 0.1%.
On Sunday, no Covid death reported.
Eight people also recovered, took the total recovery amount to 1,79,806.
The recovery rate is at 99.6%.
A total of 63 patients were in a house isolation while 11 was in the hospital.
