The Principal of MPVM Sushmita Kanungo told Tii, “We are committed to the safety and safety of our children.
School buses will be parked on the school campus so that children should not face all kinds of discomfort.”
“Because the school is located on a busy Prayagraj-Lucknow highway, we assume that the crowding bus and parents can cause traffic congestion outside the campus.
Therefore, we take the initiative to ensure the parking of school vehicles on campus.”
Kanungo further said that even though there was a room restraint on the school campus, a careful and thoughtful planning provided useful results.
MPVM is one of the schools that operate the highest number of buses.
That is why this initiative was welcomed by the traffic police authority.
In addition, teachers have been assigned to all school buses.
Each bus is given to a teacher who attends and records it in the attendance list.
Signatures are obtained from students on arrival and departure.
The record of attendance is shared with a class teacher.
In the case, every child leaves school early because of an emergency, the teacher responsible for the bus is informed by a class teacher so there is no difference.
In addition, parents, and teachers who are responsible for the bus, keep a telephone number record of the driver and conductor, and their identity card and the police verification records are checked regularly.
Meanwhile, senior traffic police officials said that the school initiative was commendable and suggested another school to adopt a similar initiative to check congestion.
