The clinic in Hyd Mosque treats 25,000 women in a year

Hyderabad: The All-Women’s Clinic at the City Mosque in Rajendranagar has cared for 25,000 patients in the past year.
It not only helps weaning poor women from dukun and self-treatment but also helps poor women save RS 1.25 Crore at consulting costs, medicines and surgical procedures.
Although a handful of mosques in the city has attached a clinic, Mohammed Mosque Mustafa Clinic in Wadi-e-Mahmood in Rajendranagar serves female patients exclusively.
Interestingly, all medical staff and paramedics are women.
The clinic handles around 200 female patients every day.
The clinic serves the medical needs and health of women and girls in 30 slums in Rajendranagar Mandal.
To mark a one-year completion, the mosque clinic conducts a survey that reveals that 75% of patients with chronic diseases have saved themselves from futile care, shopping and shaman shamans.
This clinic is run by helping Hand Foundation (HHF) and supported by seeds, US-based NGOs, and NRI from the US.
This clinic introduces a unique health program for the first time at the grassroots level.
They include health and weight loss, community ophthalmology, community dentistry, non-contagious diseases of the community (NCD) prevention and control and midday food for children, “said HHF who managed the safe guardian Mujtaba Hasan.
According to the survey, 80 % women have reported a general increase in their health.
Also, the need to visit clinics has been significantly reduced from two to three visits per month to almost neglected now.
About 20% of long-term patients suffering from chronic diseases expressing improved physical problems, which significantly increases their family ties.
Of the 1,248 women above 30 discraned for NCD, 48% found to have a high risk of NCD because of being overweight and other risk factors such as family history and lifestyle.
A total of 53% of women have more than 25 women put them on class obesity 2.
all women above 25 are registered in Health program and weight loss.
In 18% of women, hypertension was diagnosed and 6% of women suffer from diabetes.
These women are not aware of their health conditions.
