New Delhi: Shyamal watershed from Murshidabad West Bengal is among seven people who were killed in an ambush by the People’s Liberation Army and Dragon People’s Guerrillas in Manipur on Saturday.
Das worked as a driver for Assam Rifles Colonel Viplav Tripathi.
His wife Suparna said: “He had called on Friday night to wish you a happy birthday, but he had fallen asleep.
It was his last call.” The family is now waiting for his body, which is likely to reach his home place on Monday.
