Gurgaon: A company based in Gurgaon allegedly cheated by Rs 40 lakh by fraudsters on behalf of supplying oxygen concentrators during the second wave of malignant pandemic.
In April-May when Delhi-NCR faced lack of oxygen, JRG Automotive Industries India Pvt Ltd posted a request of buyers on the B2B International website, after which fraudster – disguised as Abu Karim, representative of India owned by LLC by banning Field Quentinas – has approached management Convincing them to ensure the delivery of oxygen concentrators in four working days.
The automotive JRG immediately places an order for 70 oxygen concentrators and even makes all payments after receiving the order details and delivery, but the concentrator never achieved their goals, according to complaints of police submitted by JRG automotive officials.
“After receiving payment, the defendant stopped responding to our email.
Finally we realized that we were cheated.
Furthermore, the shipping details and addresses of Indian partners were accused of not available,” said the automotive representative JRG in complaint.
