Lucknow: Head of Sri Ram Janmabhomi Teertha Kshetra, Mahant Nrita Gopal Das, on Thursday was released from supporting oxygen and catheter by a doctor, four days after she was hospitalized by Medanta Lucknow.
Seer’s 83-year-old health condition improved with satisfactory test results after the hospital said he could be dismissed on Friday.
Mahant, who is also the head of the biggest temple Ayodhya – Mani Ram Das Ki Chavni, was hospitalized on Sunday night after he complained of problems with his urine function and breathing.
He then imposed oxygen support and his urine infection was being monitored in the Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under the urology team and critical care management doctors.
On Thursday, it felt better on both accounts after oxygen and catheter support was moved.
The urine test report is satisfactory.
The doctor said the whole condition was also satisfying and developed as expected, after the official medical bulletin of the hospital said that there was a possibility for him to be dismissed on Friday to be brought back to Ayodhya.
Between Sundays and Thursdays, The Seer was visited by the Chair of the Yogi Adityanath Minister, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya and former Madhya Pradesh CM Uma Bharti, at the hospital.
