Jaipur: Chief Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Saturday said his government would complete a five-year full term, in the midst of an internal commotion at the Congress in neighboring Punjab, where Amarinder Singh resigned as CM, and Chhattisgarh.
Speaking in a program at his residence here to launch a campaign ‘Prasashan Sharon to Sang and Prasashan Gaon to Sang, Gehlot said there was speculation to do a round of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh as well after punjab.
“The Government of Congress in Rajasthan will not only finish five years but will return to power in the next assembly election in the state,” he said.
Gehlot said that in accordance with feedback from people, there were no anti-farmer factors on his government.
In Rajasthan, the former deputy head of the minister of Sachin Pilot and Gehlot has been locked in leadership upheaval, while in Chhattisgarh after the head of Bhupesh Baghel’s head finishing two and a half years in the post in June, TS Singhdeo Camp claimed that the leadership of the Congress in 2018 had agreed to give office to him after the government completed half the term.
Amarinder Singh resigned as the main minister, claiming that he was humiliated by Congress, withdrawing a strong response from the party, with the senior Harish Rawat leader said that the party always respected.
In the launch of the campaign, Gehlot also said that he would distribute urban development and the housing department again to Shanti Dhariwal, if Congress won the next Rajasthan election, because he had done hard work with the campaign.
