All sports related institutions, physical education and college education centers in Bihar will be affiliated with this new university, which will become the sixth university in the country.
While introducing the Bihar Sports University Bill, 2021 in the Assembly Assembly, Arts, Culture and the Department of Youth Alok Ranjan said, “This is not just a bill, but the dream of everyone who wants to bring a medal for the country.”

“At least 33.3 percent of the seats will be provided for women at this university.
Chairs will motivate more women to sports and thus, their number will be automatically enhanced in the field of sports,” said Minister.
The bill was later passed by the absence of opposition members.
Mola opposition staged walkout on Tuesday pressing the request for discussions about the chosen members of the police in the assembly during the previous session a few months ago.
Three more bills were introduced and authorized at home during the day.
Billar Pancayati Raj (Amandment), 2021, is continued to change the law to improve the working period of the Advisory Committee in Panchayats in the state.
“The state government will have the power to form an advisory committee to run a rural body of three outside their five-year period expiration until the new election,” said Pancayati Raj Minister Samrat Choudhary.
Amendments are needed because old actions have improved the representative work period of five years and cannot be extended.
The choice of Panchayat cannot be held in the state on time due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
All representatives were elected in Pancayati’s Raj Institution will continue in the Advisory Committee until the new election was held, the Minister said.
Aryabhatta Knowledge University (Amendment) Bill, 2021, is forwarded to introducing subjects such as nanotechnology, river studies and climate change.
The assembly also passed Bihar Health Sciences Bill-2021.
Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that the university was required to remember the increasing needs and rapid expansion in the field of medical education.
