Chandrapur: Sleuth Bureau Anti-Corruption (ACB) Nabbed Extension Officer (Health), Sanjeev Inmulwar, and Recovery of Employees (Water Supply) Parshuram Girsawale while accepting RS2,500 bribes at the Gonpipri Panchayat Samiti (PS) office on Monday.
Inmulwar and Girsurale allegedly demanded bribes to publish a birth certificate to the complainant.
Official sources say that the complainant from Velgaon Village at Gonpipri Tehsil has submitted an application with Panchayat Samiti.
Employees of Inmulwar and Recovery (Water Supply) Girsawle initially demanded RS3,000 but resolved for RS2,500, the source said.
The complainant approaches ACB Chandrapur.
Deputy ACB SP Avinash Bhamre verifies complaints and put a trap at the PS and Nabbed Inumulwar office as soon as he receives the money, the source said.
