Thiruvananthapuram: This country faces a big shortage of IAS and IPS officers who are asked to fill various posts, the figure shows.
In accordance with government numbers, only 52% of the strength of the allocation of IPS officers and 62% of the forces of allocation of IAS officers are available for services in the state.
According to BYCM PINARAYI VIJIYAN reply in assembly, the strength of the Cadre of the IAS officer was 231, where only 144 were available.
Similarly, the strength of the cadre of IPS officers is 172, where only 90 officers are available for services in the state.
The availability of Indian forest services (IFS) is also no better – from 107 posts, only 62 (58%) available.
The shortcomings have several reasons – the shortcomings of officers given to state cadres by the center of a certain period, an increase in the number of posts for many years and officers who chose to go with the manifestation to the center and to their country of origin of inter-cargala deputation.
From the IAS officers allocated for state cadres, 22 were in the middle representative while two served in their home country.
As many as six officers were in state deputation under the state government.
The same is the number of IPS officers who represent representatives from the country.
While 23 IPS officers were in central deputation, one in inter-cadre deputation in his home country.
Only two IPS officers were in the country’s deputation under the state government.
The current country has one IAS, three IPs, and eight IFS officers who originally came from other cadres, but have come to the state in inter-career deputation for three years.
The minister’s chairman also responded that the government had begun steps to improve all India services, through direct selection and selection of other services.
With this intention the state government has introduced Kerala administration services, selection which is in the final stage of recruitment.
The state runs less than IAS officers, especially in the rank of secretary.
The IAS officer from the 1997 batch to 2003 is currently in the secretary class, where there are only 10 now.
Although there were only 10 secretary ranking officers, there were only 12 officers in the ranks of the main secretary, who jointly held an allegations of a portfolio of more than three times their total number.
On average, each officer in the rank of major secretary or secretary class holds two to three additional accusations in the state.
Similar is a case with IPS too, especially in the ranks of SPS and excavations.
Many officers held several charges in this rating at this time.
