New Delhi: The government has given a two-month situation until December 31 to register for funding under the RS 3 Lakh Crore Center distribution reform scheme, Minister of Power R K Singh said after reviewing the steps taken by countries to improve power infrastructure.
Singh told the officials of the power of the countries that the focus must be at 24×7 quality strength and customer satisfaction now that universal access has been achieved by shocking nearly 3 crore households.
The norm issued last week for funding under the scheme requested by a discom (distribution company) to be applied on October 31.
The deadline for sending DPRs (detailed project report) is December 31.
Under the scheme, discounts must draw action plans with either -finition and measurable and measurable in various parameters such as reducing lines to 12-15% in certain time frames.
This action plan must be examined by the central lender and approved by the state government before they are handed over to the center.
Funds will be associated with giving milestones and countries that fail to meet the target will not get any funds.
Singh said this scheme imagined the extensive use of AI (artificial intelligence) and information technology to increase accounting and energy audits to reduce losses, increase billing and improve the quality and reliability of supply.
He also emphasized the greening of agricultural feeders to support the central kusum scheme for farmers, imagining the solarization of agricultural pumps.
Under the Kusum scheme, farmers will get electricity from solar units with nominal rates during the day to run the pump from the first day.
When a farmer does not irrigate the field, electricity is available for discom.
Against the capacity of the sanctions available at 9.5 lakh pumps under Kusum, request 43 lakh pumps have been received from America.
