HOWRA: The couple was found dead in their flat in the housing complex at Nandalal Mukherjee Lane under the Chatterjee Hat police station in Howrah on Sunday.
The police suspected that Gautam Maiti (57), who worked as a manager of a bar in Howrah, might have killed his wife, Mousumi, and then hanged himself from the ceiling.
The two couple’s daughters returned from drawing class and knocked on the door repeatedly.
Because they did not get a response, they told some neighbors who opened the door and found the duo died.
Neighbors said the couple had Tiff for the female addiction on social media on Saturday.
The police, however, did not rule out the possibility of a rotten game.
