Karwar: The body of a man and a woman was found between the stones of Hulmadi Beach in Bhatkal Taluk on Saturday.
Based on aadhaar cards and driving licenses found in the person, both of them have been identified as Aditya B, 45, and Lakshmi B, 35, from Bengaluru.
The police suspect that both of them came to the beach on Friday night.
Aditya’s body was found in a rocky area with Dupatta tied around her neck while Lakshmi’s body was found a few meters from Aditya’s body with her face destroyed.
The police have not confirmed whether it is a suicide case or whether they are killed.
Bhatkal rural police are investigating this case.
