Mumbai: Bombay HC on Thursday took a record of two sets of documents, submitted by the Minister of Nawab Malik and Dnyandeo Wankhede, father of Zonal director NCB Sameer Wankhede, and posted for order on senior art petition Monday to hold the leader slandering from posting content to his family.
Madhav Jamdar justice, which is expected to place an order on November 22, said “The party was asked not to produce anything until Monday”.
Replying to Malik’s claim that his name Dawood and his son are Muslims, Wankhede handed over the birth certificate issued by BMC.
This shows the name of Sameer’s father as Dnyandeo Kachruji Wankhede.
He also submitted a certificate to leave the Tenth Standard School in 1995, where the caste ‘Wankhede Sameer Dnyandev’ Scheduled Caste ‘.
In a written statement delivered on Thursday, Malik said the details of the birth certificate showed the religion of Sameer as a ‘Muslim’.
