New Delhi: The Delhi Court session has upheld a command that punishes a man because it causes permanent damage to someone’s eyes by ignoring firecracking lighting in Diwali in November 2013 and send him to prison to serve a six-month sentence.

The incident took place on November 3, 2013, at 9pm in the Delhi Nilothi area when the complainant stood outside his home.
