The Covid-19 case weekly fell 13% because Kerala saw 17% dip

India reported a 13% decline in the case of fresh Covid-19 on the week ended on Sunday, the first substantial decline in infection in three weeks, because Kerala registered a 17% decline in numbers.
Death of the virus fell to a 24-week low.
India reported 2,104 deaths in a week, the lowest number from March 22-28.
Covid fresh cases in this country for a week (September 6-12) reflect a decrease in cases in Kerala.
India reported more than 2.5 lakh cases, down from 2.8 lakh in the previous week and the lowest number in the last three weeks.
Kerala contributed on time of two equal (66.6%) of all cases in India.
It reports more than 1.6 lakh fresh infections for a period of seven days.
On Sundays, India reported nearly 31,400 fresh cases and 211 deaths.
Kerala recorded the highest number of deaths in 67, followed by Maharashtra (46), Tamil Nadu (22) and Karnataka (17).
Kerala posted 20,240 new cases.
