The Covid curve shows signs of leveling in Dharwad

Dharwad: Sudden surge in the Covid-19 case in Dharwad in the third iteration of Pandemi has rebelled officials in the district administration, especially when cases rise with enthusiasm in the second week of January.

Authorities hope to slow down the Covid curve in the district in the next few days.
The covid test level in Dharwad Regency hovered around 0.1 to 0.3% in the first week of January, but surged for two digits in the following two weeks, reaching as high as 17.9% on January 16.
While the graph remained unstable line until January 22, it continued the spiral up on the last week of January.

February began with encouraging records for Dharwad, Apropo of the Covid situation with the district that reported only 633 cases on the first two days of a month.
That number fell further, with only 535 cases reported on February 3, and 393 on the fourth.
As on Friday, Kasel active in the Dharwad district stands at 4,574.
But even when the cases seemed to surge almost uncontrollably in this district, the ratio of the number of people recovered to those infected remains a bright spot, such as the marginal proportion of infected patients who need hospitalization.
However, experts have warned people not to drop their guards, because the neglect of safety norms can lead to the novel Coronavirus which spreads unchecked.
Dwarwad Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil said that the surge in the number of cases could also be associated with increasing testing in this district.
“Class on-campus has begun for first-grade students to nine.
However, people must remain careful, at their workplace, and in all public places.
Use of a constant mask, hand sanitis and avoid a busy place will help levelen the curve Covid in Dharwad, “he said.
