Daily Coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia have risen above 1,000 for the first time since August, while daily infections in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) cross 2,500 levels.
Authorities in two Arab Bay countries do not break cases with Covid-19 variants.
The two countries confirmed the case of the first Omicron variant known in early December.
Saudi Arabia, the largest bay country with a population of around 30 million, on Sunday enrolled 1,024 new Koronavirus infections and one death.
Daily cases have fallen below 100 in September.
UAE neighbors, tourism and commercial centers now mark the peak tourism season and host reasonable, announcing 2,600 new Coronavirus cases and three deaths.
Daily infection in the UAE rose above 2,000 on December 29, after falling below 100 in October.
The UAE said on Saturday will ban citizens who are not vaccinated from traveling abroad from January 10 and that entirely vaccinated citizens will also ask for a booster shot to qualify for traveling.
The latest Daily Covid numbers are still below the peak of nearly 4,000 hits in the UAE last January when visitors flocked to the country, and a record of more than 4,700 in Saudi Arabia in June 2020, according to Reuters data.
