PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry Union region reported 1,160 fresh Covid-19 cases even when 142 patients recovered in the last 24 hours ending at 10 am on Sunday took the total active case to 7,602.
From them, 7,469 were under isolation and home care while the remaining 133 was in the hospital.
Puducherry headquarters reported maximum new cases with 974 followed by Karaikan (129), Mahe (40) and Yanam (17).
Puducherry head office has a maximum active case with 6,651 followed by Karaikan (763), Mahe (135) and Yanam (53).
The level of pepositives on Sunday reaches 43.7%.
A 31-year-old man from Puducherry died because the infection took the death toll to 1,887.
The Covid Puducherry case actively rose to 7,602
