Nagpur: Only months after the Ministry of Forestry spent several days tracking leopards allegedly seen in the city, now they have a full hand with the presence of a confirmed crocodile in the city of Nullah.
The crocodile was sunbathing in the sun on Nullah behind the Patrakar colony near the gasoline bole pump when people recorded a video and clicked on a photo.
Hate, Warden Wildlife Honor, “This is the third time we receive a call about this, and the crocodile has been seen in the same area.
Nullah has a lot of water and crocodiles get enough food.
It seems about 5 years.” Forest officials have mobilized the team to track and catch crocodiles, but it won’t be so easy.
Hate said, “We will go there again on Tuesday and have to step carefully.
If it’s in the water, then catch the crocodile it will be very difficult because it is the domain.
Like a tiger in the forest, crocodile controls water.
We have even been Tell NMC not to allow staff to clean the job in certain fillings.
“But where did this crocodile come from? Hate says it’s the best speculation, but the lower pest can be origin.
“There is a crocodile on the Penh River from that place maybe entering the lower pest.
From there it might have come through a water pipe to Gorewada and then through garbage disposal to Nolah.
If you continue to move, the crocodile will end up on the Nag River near Pardi,” Hate said.
