New Delhi: The cumulative Covid-19 vaccine dose given in this country has crossed the 36 crore landmark, the UNI Ministry said on Tuesday.
The new phase of the Covid-19 vaccination on vaccination starts from June 21.
More than 32.40 lakh (32,40,007) the vaccine dose was given on Tuesday, according to a report while 7 nights.
The ministry said 16.00.825 vaccine doses were given as the first dose and 1,09,913 vaccine doses given as the second dose in the age group 18-44 years on Tuesday.
Cumulatively, 10,45,240 people in the age group of 18-44 years in all states and the United States have received their first dose and 30.42,302 has received their second dose since the commencement of the third phase of the vaccination drive.
Eight countries – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra have provided more than 50 lakh the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the age group 18-44 years.
Also, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal have been vaccinated by more than 10 beneficiaries of the 18-44 year age group for the first covid dose.
