The Cut-Off Schedule of the University of Delhi will be released next week: Officials

New Delhi: Officials of the University of Delhi will hold a series of meetings with the principal to complete the cut-off schedule which is likely to be released next week, officials said on Saturday.
The University plans to release its first cut-off on October 1 to accommodate students who appear for repair or compartment exams, they added.

1 October is the tentative date for the first cut-off.
We plan to remove the cut-off that day.
We will hold a meeting with the Principal and Nodal Officer to complete the schedule.

He said they planned to release a cut-off schedule for at least five cut-offs next week.
A principal, asking for anonymity, saying they have begun to hold meetings at their level to analyze the cut-off trend.
The other principal said they had not received application data from the University and would decide accordingly.
Most principals in round voice say that the cut-off will be higher this time, with more students scoring above 95 percent this year in the Secondary Education Council Board exam (CBSE).
More than 2.87 lakh students have submitted a Delhi University undergraduate program, down from 3.53 lakh applications last year, with a maximum candidate from CBSE.
More than 2.29 lakh applicants came from CBSE affiliated schools, followed by the Haryana School Education Council (9,918), the council for inspection of Indian school certification (9,659) and rising secondary schools and secondary education (8,007).
