The Czech Olympic team reported the Covid case after landing in Tokyo

Prague: Staff members who are not named the Czech Olympic team are tested positive for Covid-19 after landing in Tokyo, the Czech Olympic Committee said in a statement on Saturday.
“Unfortunately, regardless of all our steps cannot avoid this situation,” said Martin Doctor, Head of the Czech Olympic team.
“All other team members have been tested negatively and all athletes are fine in the Olympic Village,” added the Olympic champions twice at Canoe Sprint from Atlanta 1996.
Staff members have a positive antigen test at the airport and infection confirmed by the next PCR analysis.
Men who have no symptoms of disease are currently in isolation, just like some other team members identified as close contact from the plane.
The organizer said they had registered the first Covid-19 case in the Olympic Village on Saturday, six days before the opening ceremony.
