The Daily Covid case crosses 3,000 in Gurugram, the highest since May 8 during the 2nd wave

Gurugram: City on Thursday reported 3,031 new Covid-19 cases, the most in one day during the current surge.
The last time more people had tested positive in one day was during the mid-second wave on May 8 last year, when 3,441 cases were recorded.
Gurugram also witnessed a surge in daily peposititives, which rose from 22% to 24% on Thursday.
The city has 15,175 active cases currently and 15,063 patients are in home insulation and 112 in hospitals.
There are no cases of active omicron at this time.
1,109 Covid patients also recovered that day.
The Ministry of Health said that the worst did not end because the peak had not yet arrived.
“We expect a further surge in cases in the coming days.

In the past four days, 8,606 such a dose has been given.
