Gandhidham: Six members of the Dalit family allegedly attacked by around 20 people to visit a temple in their village near the city of Gandhidham Kutch Gujarat District, police said on Friday.
While the alleged incident occurred on Tuesday (October 26) at Ner Village under the Bhachau Police Station, there was no arrest made so far, police deputy supervisor Kishorsinh Zala said.
“Two pine was registered in this case, one by Govind Vaghela and the others by his father Jagabhai.
Duo claimed that around 20 people attacked them.
We have formed eight teams to arrest the perpetrators,” Zala said.
This case has been registered with a mass of 20 people, including Kana Ahir, Rajesh Maharaj, Kesra Rabai, Paba Rabari and Kana Koli, on charges of efforts to kill, Dako, robbery, attack, and under the SC / under the relevant section.
ST (Prevention of cruelty) acts, it’s stated.
In accordance with FIR, the defendant was angry because Govind Vaghela and his family had visited the RAM Temple in Ner Village on October 20 to offer prayers when Prana Proustha’s ritual was ongoing.
On October 26, Vaghela was in his shop, when he learned that some people had destroyed the establishment plants by sending livestock to their fields, the complaint stated.
When the complainant and uncle Ganesh Vaghela reached the place, the defendant attacked them with pipes, sticks and sharp weapons to visit the temple, police said.
In accordance with FIR, the defendant also allegedly stole a cellphone and damaged the complainant becak.
The complainants also alleged that the defendant had attacked his mother Badhiben, Pastor Jagabhai and two other relatives, and six victims were hospitalized at Bhuj.
