New Delhi: Health Minister Delhi Satyendar Jain on Friday confirmed that the danger of Covid-19 had subsided in the national capital and the situation was “quite controlled”.
He also said that the virus was the main cause of death in just three of the 43 fatalities that recorded the previous day.
National capital is expected to record 10,500 cases on Friday with 17 to 18 percent of the level of participation, Jain said.

The participation level reached 30.6 percent on Saturday, the highest in the ongoing wave of pandemic so far, 27.9 percent on Sunday, 28% on Monday, 22.5% on Tuesday, 23.9% on Wednesday and 21.5% on Thursday.
“Of the 43 fatalities recorded on Thursday, Coronavirus is the main cause in just three,” said Minister of Health Jain.
The capital has reported 396 deaths due to infection in January so far.
According to officials, most of these patients have comorbidity and Covid is not the main cause of death.
