Kolkata: The last day of undergraduate acceptance in Bengal has been expanded until October 8 to help universities and colleges to fill vacancies.
The Ministry of Higher Education on Tuesday allows educational institutions to reopen their online reception portal and receive fresh applications for the subject, where the chair is still empty.
However, the first semester UG classes, it will likely start from October 1, as mentioned earlier, because circular does not mention something about it.
“Both will continue simultaneously,” said an official.
Some universities and colleges still have 30% to 50% of empty seats after several rounds of reception, encourage them to appeal to the country to extend deadlines for more than a week.
The previous September 30 deadline will end in two more days.
Before this date, circular was issued, institutions throughout the city had entered the last minute blitzkrieg to recognize as many candidates as possible from their list.
While some come with innovative methods for quick reception, others have launched several wish lists so they are lower on the reward list but are really interested in learning and entering.
Some initiate further online reporting rounds so that only interested candidates can be considered preparation for the provisional list.
Maulana Azad College started something called a fast entrance ticket to fill her job.
Students who express interest in taking reception will get two hours to carry out all the acceptance formalities.
College publishes five reward lists for fast entrance tickets until Tuesday night, the first at 10 am Monday.
“Less than 10% of empty seats now.
Bulungan is quickly very helpful because students who are interested in completing the acceptance formalities within two hours,” said Dutta Subhasm, the principal.
Since its inception, universities have published their list in rapid succession to offer opportunities for a large number of students.
After publishing three achievements, the University Presidency has started the online reporting round for almost all subjects.
“Candidates will need to upload copies of their markers and certificates.
Only those who have all the documents will be considered for a list of provisional pretisies in the next round,” said a university official.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria College has started registration for the wish list for empty seats, including those from the booked categories.
“We want to fill as many empty seats and want to give every customer applicant to receive a ticket,” said Asok Mukhopadhyay, head of the campus school.
