The day after murder, brothers took a loan with gold looted

Kolkata: The day after Sanjay Kumar Das (44) and Sandip Kumar Das (32) killed their cousin, Susmita Mondal (43) and her son Tamojit Mondal (13) in their home on September 6, they visited non-banking financial companies and took Loans of Rs 46,500 in return for a portion of the gold they have jatuhi from Mygals’s house.
It was almost no hours after the two brothers visited Susmita’s house and told her husband, Tapan, they were sure the murder motives were robbery.
They told the determination of the killer to be arrested.
Susmita Mondal (43) and her son Tamojit Mondal (13) police said the defendant took a gold loan for two reasons: First, they wanted to get money fast and second, they thought this was the best way to waste spoils without raising.
suspicion.
On Friday, some of the deposited gold ornaments were taken from the Company’s Batanagar office, where both went to look for loans.
“This will be our biggest proof of the two brothers.
We tried to get their recording to visit the office on September 7,” said an officer.
“Following the interrogation of Sanjay, a broken gold chain, bangle cover, a pair of ear drops and a pair of earnings, all weight 15.4GM, taken.
The gold loan document from the Batanagar branch was also confiscated,” said CP together (crime) Murlidhar Sharma.
The police said they found out how much gold was looted.
“The paper verification is lit.
Sanjay claimed he took a loan of RS 30,000 but the papers showed it was Rs 46,500,” said a murder section officer.
The police have not learned why Sandip agreed to be part of a crime, especially because Sanjay seemed to tell him about the plot four days before they committed murder.
“Sandip runs a family fee and he thinks if he can get gold, he will be released from his financial burden.
We find out whether the two brothers together invest in a gold loan or whether sandip is given a separate share,” Sharma said on Friday.
Sanjay is expected to find more valuables in Susmita’s place.
“Sanjay asked Susmita for a loan of Rs 5,000, which he promised him to give but he told his mother about it.
This made Sanjay annoyed,” said an officer.
