Gurgaon: The day after the heated argument broke out between the Mayor of Madhu Azad and the Interintending Engineer (SE) Ramesh Sharma, the last while was released from his responsibilities on Tuesday.
The action occurred after 10 board members, together with the mayor, met the MCG commissioner and raised complaints of violations of SE.
Sharma came out of the meeting Monday after the argument with the mayor.
“The cost of Ramesh Kumar Sharma, Interintending Engineer, MCG, with this is assigned to Vivek Gill, Interintending Engineer-II to further orders.
However, accusations in connection with Ramesh Kumar, Superintending Engineers were detained,” Read orders issued by Commissioner MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja .
The mayor said that around 50 residents, along with the board members, came to meet him on September 3 and complained about the gutter that overflowed at number 22.
The mayor then called SE in front of the complainant and asked him to visit the site and resolve the problem.
SE did not visit the site and when the Mayor asked him about it at a meeting on Monday, the argument broke.
“Se said that he had no time so he sent his subordinates to visit the site.
Residents say that they have faced problems and SE says that there is no need for desilting projects.
SE then leaves a meeting when I still lead the same thing.
The officer thought he was Superior to the selected house representatives, which is why he did not obey my orders, “Azad said.
However, Sharma said that he could not visit the site because he went to attend a meeting managed by the GMDA CEO.
SE said that he had sent his executive engineer to visit the site as directed by the Mayor.
“I do not approve the desilting project which is estimated to cost 50 lakh rs in the environment number 22.
However, the mayor and several board members want to reopen the project.
This is the reason for action against me.”
