Nagpur: The State Education Department has extended deadlines for STD XI receipts in the city per day to Tuesday to help students collect relevant documents for reception.
The focus is to students who have not received their caste certificate, something that is an important part of the receipt process.
The Ministry of Education allows submission of recognition receipts that prove that students have submitted a request for caste certificates.
The centralized registration process (cap) is entirely online and only applies to universities located within the city limits.
This year the academic session has started delayed for two things.
First is the second wave of Covid Pandemi which resulted in the cancellation of the exam and also postponed results.
The second reason is specific to cities where the mandatory stamp.
The Ministry of Education decided to conduct a joint entry test (CET) for students based on which they will get reception at STD XI.
Although this test is not mandatory, the department explains that priority in revenue will be given to those who appear for this test.
A senior teacher said, “This, by the way, makes it mandatory because no one wants to stand at the end of the line for reception.” However, some parents in Mumbai challenged CET in the High Court after being removed.
The Ministry of Education then revised the closing date and until now only the first round of reception will end.
The physical class has been continued with a full swing from July itself in college right outside the city limits because hats do not apply to them and students can get direct reception by approaching college.
A junior junior head said, “We are now more than a month in the academic schedule compared to our rural colleagues and the extension of this deadline, although only one day, further adds to the delay.”
