Nagpur: The Maharashtra State Committee from the Communist Party banned by India (Maois) said the death of the Swamy Stan Rights Activist as a ‘murder’ by the central government and Maharashtra to improve the problem of tribal and classes that were oppressed.
Swamy, who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and was jailed under the anti-terror law in the case of Elgar Parishad, died at the age of 84 at Mumbai Hospital in the middle of his struggle for guarantees.
Studied, he had contracted Covid-19 and then shifted to the ICU.
In a press release issued by a spokesman for the State Committee of Maharashtra Sahyadri, Maois has demanded the release of most “political prisoners” under other trials from the Elgar Parishad case which stated that most of them were senior citizens.
The rebels claimed that Swamy was involved in the wrong case and was labeled as ‘Maoist Symphatizer’ and ‘Naxal Urban’ because they had repeatedly raised the sound against injustice moored to the tribes.
Maois also said that Nia targeted Swamy to her attitude to political prisoners and other experiments labeled as rebels.
They claimed that Swamy was the target of the anti-tribal movement that opposed the government, especially the Jharkhand state, such as entering the agreement that was worth millions of rupees with corporate bodies at forest costs.
Maois also appealed to people to increase anti-government agitation of Swamy’s “murder”.
