The strike at Yemen’s biggest airbase on Sunday killed at least 30 people and injured 60 spokesman for the southern troops.
The attack was reported at the Al-Anad Air Base in the South Province of Lahij held by the government.
The government recognized internationally by the military coalition led by Saudi – and Huthi rebels Alan Iran was locked in the war since 2014, when the rebels confiscated the capital Sanaa.
Spokesman for Armed Forces Mohammed al-Naqib said there were victims, without giving numbers, accusing the rebels launching missiles and drone strikes.
A local pro-government official, who speaks with anonymous requirements, confirmed fatality.
There are no comments directly from the rebels.
In 2019, Huthi said they launched a drone kick on Al-Anad during the military parade, with medical officers and government sources to say at that time at least six loyalists were killed – including high-ranking intelligence officials.
Al-Anad, about 60 kilometers (40 miles) in the north of the second city of Yemen Aden, is the headquarters for US troops who oversee the drone war that runs long against Al-Qaeda until March 2014 when it was flooded by Huthi rebels.
It was arrested again by government forces in August 2015 when they restored the area from rebels in the south with the support of the Saudi LED coalition.
