Manila: The death toll in a plane accident on the Philippine military aircraft in the southwest of the country rose to 45, CNN Philippines Broadcasters reported quoting the country’s defense ministry.
Of this 45, 42 died on the plane, and three more on the ground.
Rescue operations continued, and 42 people were found to live.
The plane fell on Jolo Island while trying to land because of missing the runway, the media reported earlier that day.
